Aspectos destacados de Museum de Pont Tilburg

Thomas Schütte – Westkunstmodelle at Full Scale
A presentation of German artist Thomas Schütte’s architectural models—referred to as Westkunstmodelle—realized at full scale. These works explore the intersection of art, architecture, and sculpture, and this exhibition or project represents a rare opportunity to experience Schütte’s small-scale conceptual models as immersive, walk-in environments.

Kasper Bosmans – Wolf Corridor
An immersive installation by Belgian artist Kasper Bosmans (b. 1990), presented at De Pont Museum in Tilburg. The work channels a poetic approach to regional history, focusing not on grand events but on the overlooked cultural and folkloric layers of the Campine (Kempen) landscape.

“Lentebloesem” (1987) by René Daniëls
Lentebloesem presents a seemingly abstract but highly conceptual composition. Against a muted, often dark or subdued background, the viewer sees a tree-like branching form extending across the canvas. At the tips of these branches, twelve green, bow-tie-shaped figures are arranged like blossoms or fruit, creating a stylized interpretation of spring renewal. These "blossoms" are not literal flowers but metaphorical symbols—bow-tie forms that René Daniëls developed earlier in his career. Visually they echo both butterfly-shaped exhibition floor plans and fashion bow ties, blending the personal, institutional, and poetic.
